I must confess that it was horrendously, agonizingly painful. I cried in Nashville. I cried in Atlanta. I cried in the air over the Gulf of Mexico. And I cried in Panama City.
And I will likely cry in the days to come.
This leaving of family really tears the heart out of a girl, doesn't it. I cannot figure out the keyboard on this computer and right now I don't really care.
We are in Panama. And we are still alive and speaking to each other.

Brandy..I am sorry that I didn't see you before you left. Sunday was our last service at IBC. We are going to look for a church closer to home. I stayed in the nursery during service time to avoid the goodbyes and the tears that surely would have followed. Best of luck in Panama!! Will you guys get to come back to Nashville very much? We are still in Guatemala ... my intestines did not fair so well ... this country doesn't have good water like Panama .... and I thought I was being so safe!!! The Wedding was beautiful. And the people are wonderful.
We'll be heading home on Saturday.

So glad you are finally at home. Worried about you flying while Hannah was crossing the Gulf. Heading to Montgomery Bell Monday morning for Conservation Camp. We will miss you so much. George and I are so happy you are safe and getting settled in. This is a true adventure.
I want to tell you again how much we enjoyed our evening together before you left. I wish we had planned evening like this before. When you come back to visit family we will do it again.
George and I need to look at next years schedule and plan a trip to Panama to visit you and Bob sometime in 2009.
